ABA
We focus greatly on strong, effective behavior support programs. Such programs are incorporated with the latest advances in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis, using methods of positive reinforcement to increase positive behaviors. The staff at GJDRDS is highly trained in the basic principles of ABA. Our small, intimate school setting allows us to work closely with each student to achieve realistic and attainable goals. Staff works in conjunction with our on-site Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to create and implement individualized behavioral support plans for each child. Behavioral support plans include collecting and analyzing data, educating families, and implementing procedures correctively and consistently.
